About this opportunity
This Special Notice from the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration announces the Complete Trip - ITS4US Deployment Program opportunity. Through a Broad Agency Announcement, FHWA seeks to award multiple contracts to enable communities to develop large-scale, replicable and integrated technology deployments that generate increased multimodal mobility options for all travelers regardless of location, income, or disability.
The Complete Trip - ITS4US Deployment Program will make $40 million available as part of the USDOT's Complete Trip initiative. A draft BAA is available through May 29, 2020 to accept comments, which will be incorporated into the final BAA to be posted on beta.SAM.gov where all responsible sources may submit one or more proposals. The objective is to expand access to transportation. There is no set-aside and the opportunity is open to full and fair competition from all responsible sources.

This is a synopsis of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) 693JJ3-20-BAA-0004.
The requirement to be solicited is entitled “Complete Trip – ITS4US Deployment Program”. The solicitation will not be a small business set-aside. It will be available for full and open competition. The Government anticipates awarding multiple stand-alone contracts as a result of the solicitation. The Government is not utilizing a General Services Administration Schedule or any Government-wide or multiple-award contract to issue an order.
The Complete Trip – ITS4US Deployment Program is part of the USDOT’s Complete Trip portfolio, which is a new department-wide initiative to expand access to transportation for people with disabilities, older adults, and individuals of low income. The Complete Trip - ITS4US Deployment Program is making $40 million available to enable communities to develop large-scale, replicable and integrated technology deployments that generate increased multimodal mobility options for all travelers regardless of location, income, or disability.
No response to this synopsis is requested. A solicitation will be posted on beta.SAM.gov. Once a solicitation is released, all responsible sources may submit one or more proposals which shall be considered by the agency.

Comments and questions regarding the draft version of the BAA are being accepted through May 29, 2020. The FHWA will incorporate comments into the final BAA prior to release.
