About this opportunity

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center seeks proposals to design, manufacture, test, and deliver two Twist Capsule units to support the Coronal Diagnostic Experiment science payload aboard the International Space Station. Offerors must submit proposals by the revised deadline of March 26, 2021 to be considered for the firm-fixed price completion contract awarded based on technical merit. The Twist Capsules will enable CODEX operations and help resolve questions about solar wind acceleration mechanisms critical to NASA's science mission.

There is no set-aside designation for this requirement. The NAICS code is 336419 and PSC code is 1530, with delivery expected within 10 months of award at the contractor's facility in the United States. Proposals were due from any interested parties by the extended deadline, with evaluation criteria including technical approach, management approach, and price. The total contract value was not provided. NASA issued multiple amendments adjusting dates and clarifying requirements for the procurement of these two specialized components.
