This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to contract. Vendors must demonstrate capabilities in commercial cleaning of main diesel engine exhaust piping systems, galley and pantry room vent ducts, and laundry room exhaust ventilation systems. Interested parties should submit responses including company information, relevant experience, geographic coverage, required lead times, and estimated pricing to Benjamin.R.Reedy@uscg.mil by the deadline of 4 p.m. AKST on January 16, 2026. No set-aside designations apply to this opportunity, and no incumbent contractor or award value has been specified in the pre-solicitation notice. The scope of work, detailed in the accompanying Statement of Work document, addresses three distinct cleaning and maintenance work items for the USCGC Anthony Petit located in Ketchikan, Alaska. The project is scheduled to commence on March 9, 2026, with vendors expected to provide detailed work plans, protective measures, and operational testing capabilities in compliance with specific Coast Guard drawings and standard specifications. Vendors interested in this opportunity will be noted for future formal solicitations, making this RFI a valuable mechanism for the government to identify qualified contractors and establish preliminary budgeting projections for these critical shipboard maintenance services.
