About this opportunity
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mexico Mission is seeking proposals for a five-year "Civic Courts and Local Police Capacity Building Activity" contract. The procurement aims to increase the capacity of the Government of Mexico and local stakeholders to prevent and reduce crime and violence through the expansion of civic justice and evidence-driven policing strategies nationwide. USAID plans to award a single Cost-Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Completion type contract with an estimated value of approximately $20 million. Proposals are due by September 24, 2024, and USAID will use a voluntary down-select process to evaluate them in two phases.
This contract opportunity is limited to local Mexican firms, including public, private, for-profit, and nonprofit organizations, as well as institutions of higher education and non-governmental organizations. USAID plans to award the contract through a local set-aside, and no potential incumbents or current contractors are named. The contract will support activities focused on expanding the civic justice model, adopting data-driven policing strategies, and advancing innovative approaches to prevent and reduce community-level violence in Mexico.
