Update #1 ·

Added: May 07, 2014 9:58 am The National Institutes of Health (NIH) invites responsible offerors to participate in the Chief Information Officer - Commodities and Solutions (CIO-CS) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). This GWAC is intended to support the full range of IT needs across the federal government with a particular emphasis on agencies like NIH and its parent, HHS, that are involved in health care and clinical and biological research. This GWAC is the successor contract to NIH's current Electronic Commodities Store (ECS) III that is expiring in November 2014. CIO-CS will continue to support government IT efforts with a focus on health and biomedical-related IT in support of federal agencies' health missions.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement provides the only solicitation, solicitation NIHJT2014002, which is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).

For NAICS 334111, the small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, other than on a construction or service contract, but which proposes to furnish a product which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees.
