About this opportunity
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases seeks to maintain the Centers of Excellence for Influenza Research and Response Influenza Data Processing and Communication Center to process, coordinate, track, analyze influenza data collected and conduct outreach. The contractor must maintain data systems, coordinate CEIRR activities, and communicate resources to the scientific community. Proposals are due April 6, 2020 for the base year plus seven option years awarded as a cost-reimbursement contract to a small business. Evaluation will consider technical approach, personnel qualifications, and price.
The solicitation is set aside for total small business with a place of performance at the contractor's facility. The current system supports approximately 300-400 users and 100 service requests annually. The contractor must maintain 10.4 FTEs and pricing will be cost-reimbursement with a fixed fee. NAICS code 541715 applies for biological research and development services and PSC code R425 for biological research support services. The incumbent is not named but current users and activity levels provide a benchmark for potential award values.
