About this opportunity

The 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, operating under the Department of the Air Force, has published a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for CCTV Maintenance services. This special notice indicates the government's intention to award a firm fixed price purchase order to a single contractor without conducting full and open competition, citing the availability of the required services from only one responsible source. The notice was posted on April 14, 2026, and applies to critical surveillance and security equipment maintenance at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. The government is inviting capability statements from interested sources to demonstrate their capacity to perform the work before making a final determination on whether to proceed with the sole source procurement or conduct a competitive bidding process.

The primary objective is to secure CCTV maintenance services on a 24/7/365 basis for three security sites at Nellis AFB: the Security Gates, Flight Line PTZs, and Armory Internal System, covering approximately 185 Hanwha Vision cameras and related equipment. Interested contractors must submit capability statements by April 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, with attachments not exceeding 10 MB in total, including technical data and cost information demonstrating their qualifications. The contract encompasses a base year of performance from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with four optional years extending through August 31, 2031, and includes four quarterly preventive maintenance visits annually plus corrective maintenance services as needed. There are no specific eligibility restrictions noted; however, capability statements must provide convincing evidence of the ability to meet technical requirements and system compatibility, particularly regarding integration with existing Milestone XProtect infrastructure. All capability statements received by the due date will be considered, and the government retains sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source procurement.
