About this opportunity
The Mississippi Army National Guard (MSARNG) is soliciting quotes for catered meals to support the 223rd Engineering Battalion at Camp McCain, Mississippi. This Request for Quotation (RFQ W9127Q26Q0001) seeks both breakfast and dinner meals that must be pre-cooked, individually packaged, and delivered hot to the designated location. Key contract requirements include meeting specific nutritional guidelines (115g-225g carbohydrates, 23g-45g protein, 6g-40g fat, minimum 850 calories per meal), accommodating special dietary needs, and providing all necessary equipment, utensils, and containers. Award will be made based on Best Value to the Government using three equally-weighted evaluation criteria: price, technical capability to execute the full scope of work, and past performance history. The solicitation was posted on November 3, 2025, with a due date of November 4, 2025, representing an extremely compressed timeline for submission.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS 722320 (Caterers) with a size standard of $9 million, limiting eligibility to certified small business entities. Following Amendment #1, the requirement has been reduced to 150 breakfast meals and 150 dinner meals daily, totaling 1,350 meals for each line item across the period of performance from November 10-18, 2025. Meals must be delivered during specific windows: 0600-0730 for breakfast and 1700-1830 for dinner to Building S-223. The total contract value has not been disclosed in the solicitation notice. The point of contact for operational questions is SFC Terry Reed at 662-251-0011 or terry.l.reed.mil@army.mil, and electronic invoicing must be submitted through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system after contract award.
