About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking sources for the de-installation, re-installation, and expansion of CaseCracker systems at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) facility at Naval Station Great Lakes. This Sources Sought Announcement is intended for market research purposes and is not a formal solicitation, though it will inform the development of a future procurement. The requirement encompasses de-installing two existing CaseCracker systems from temporary space, reinstalling them in newly renovated office space, and installing a third system in a soft interview room, along with the installation of panic/distress devices in each interview room. Interested vendors of all sizes should submit responses by 10:00 AM EST on November 17, 2025, via email to designated NCIS contacts, providing business information including company name, representative details, business type and size, CAGE code, and applicable government contracting vehicles. The anticipated NAICS code is 334310 (Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing), with the PSC category classified as 5836 (Video Recording and Reproducing Equipment).

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is open to businesses of all sizes without preferential restrictions. The contract scope includes de-installation services, re-installation in the new facility, an additional room kit for the third interview room, panic alarm installation in all interview rooms, and a five-year software license for the CaseCracker systems. The anticipated timeline for delivery is within 60 days of contract award, establishing a relatively expedited implementation schedule. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. While no incumbent contractor is identified in the announcement, vendors should be prepared to demonstrate technical capability and experience with CaseCracker systems and related security infrastructure to position themselves competitively for the formal solicitation that will follow this market research phase.
