SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT

INTRODUCTION:
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION to conduct market research and determine the availability and technical capability of all business size, large and small, to provide the required products and/or services.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is a Department of the Navy (DON) component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter-terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and physical and personnel security matters. The CaseCracker system brings NCIS operations to the apex of forensic data collection, specifically within the realm of documenting witness statements. Installing and implementing this system enhances the ability of NCIS special agents and investigators to accurately and safely record essential information from witnesses. Additionally, the system enables the interviewers to “flag” portions of the recordings in order to quickly hone in on the most important aspects of the statements.
