Interested firms must submit responses by August 29th demonstrating certification in duct cleaning and mold remediation standards as well as experience with similar projects over $100,000 involving multiple trades. The agency will evaluate responses on a pass/fail basis for qualifications. A mandatory site visit will be held where the final solicitation documents will be distributed to pre-qualified firms. The contract will be awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.

The principal NAICS code for this requirement is 561790 for duct cleaning services with a size standard of $8 million. There is no set-aside designated at this time, and the agency will determine if adequate small business competition exists to set aside the award for small businesses. If sufficient small businesses are qualified, only those firms will participate in the next phase. Otherwise, the award will be unrestricted. The work includes cleaning five air handling units as a base with options for two additional returns. Visual inspections and documentation will be used to verify cleanliness.
