About this opportunity

The Department of Energy National Energy Technology Laboratory is issuing a brand-name Request for Quote for one Haskel AGT-32/62 Two-Stage Gas Booster Roller Bar System, with quotes due August 13. This is full and open competition under RFO Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures; no set-aside applies.

Place of performance is Albany, Oregon. The system must deliver carbon dioxide gas with minor impurities to experimental testbeds and feature two-stage roll pumps with 32:1 and 62:1 pressure ratios, seals modified for CO2 service, maximum inlet pressure of 250 PSIG, maximum outlet pressure of 9,000 PSIG, and maximum drive air pressure of 150 PSIG. The equipment must be delivered as a fully integrated "plug and play" solution including air controls (filter, regulator, pressure gauge, speed control valve), inlet and outlet gas filters, pilot switches with automatic shutoff capability, panel-mounted gauges, relief valve, and properly plumbed fittings and tubing mounted in a rollbar frame. All equipment must comply with American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code standards, and all electrical components must hold OSHA National Recognized Testing Laboratory certification. The vendor must provide design documentation and operational manuals for all components. Shipping is FOB Destination to Albany, Oregon.

The brand-name justification rests on compatibility with existing rollbar booster systems, standardization without configuration changes to laboratory designs, and plug-and-play integration with current infrastructure. NAICS code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing); PSC is 6640 (Laboratory Equipment and Supplies). Quoters must submit SF 1449 with current Representations and Certifications either attached or via updated SAM.gov profile per RFO provisions. FAR Clauses 52.212-1 and 52.212-4 (November 2025 deviations) apply.
