About this file

This is a specification requirements document for a brand-name gas booster system being procured by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). NETL requires one Haskel AGT-32/62 two-stage gas booster roll bar system designed to deliver carbon dioxide gas with minor impurities to experimental testbeds for evaluating the impact of impurities on materials performance in high-pressure CO2 environments. The system must feature a two-stage roll pump with 32:1 and 62:1 pressure ratios, seals modified for CO2 service, a maximum inlet pressure of 250 PSIG, maximum outlet pressure of 9,000 PSIG, and maximum drive air pressure of 150 PSIG.

The delivery system must be a fully integrated "plug and play" solution including all necessary safety and control features, such as air controls (filter, regulator, pressure gauge, and speed control valve), inlet and outlet gas filters, pilot switches with panel-adjustable automatic shutoff capability, panel-mounted gauges, a relief valve, and all properly plumbed fittings and tubing mounted in a rollbar frame. The equipment must be designed and constructed in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code standards, with all electrical components OSHA National Recognized Testing Laboratory certified. The vendor must provide design documentation and operational manuals for all components. Shipping to NETL in Albany, Oregon is included as FOB Destination, and the procurement is being conducted as a brand-name exact match RFQ under RFO Part 12 procedures with full and open competition.

Attachment A – Specification Requirements

HASKEL AGT-32/62 TWO-STAGE GAS BOOSTER ROLL BAR SYSTEM

NETL requires one (1) Haskel gas boost roll bar system for delivering Carbon Dioxide (CO2) gas containing small amounts of impurities to experimental testbeds for interrogating the impact of impurities on materials performance exposed to high pressure CO2 environments.

The delivered roll bar system shall meet the following minimum specifications:

· Haskel AGT-32/62 two stage roll pump with 32:1 and 62:1 pressure ratios.

· Seals modified for CO2 service with minor impurities.

· Maximum rated inlet pressure: 250 PSIG.

· Maximum rated outlet pressure: 9000 PSIG.

· Maximum drive air pressure 150 PSIG.

The system shall be a “plug and play” system that includes all the needed safety and control features and includes air controls (filter, regulator, pressure gauge, and speed control valve), inlet and outlet gas filters, inlet and outlet pilot switches with panel adjustable outlet pressure for automatic shutoff at user specified pressure, panel mounted gauges, relief valve, and all fittings and appropriate tubing plumbed and mounted in a rollbar frame.

The system shall be designed and constructed to American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code standards. The vendor shall provide documentation on design of the system and operational manuals (including subcomponents).

Electrical components shall be OSHA National Recognized Testing Laboratory certified.

Shipping to NETL, 1450 Queen Ave., SW, Albany, Oregon, 97321 shall be included in the quotation.

FOB Destination.
