About this opportunity
The Department of Justice US Marshals Service has issued a Special Notice for Boeing 737 Maintenance Tracking and Maintenance Program Revision Services under the Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS). The agency seeks to renew its subscription for maintenance tracking and revision services covering four aircraft: one Boeing 737-400, one Boeing 737-700, and two Boeing 737-800. The procurement division intends to use single-source procurement procedures under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to issue a purchase order directly to Camp Systems International Inc. of Ronkonkoma, New York. The contract performance period is scheduled from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, with a NAICS code of 488190 for Other Support Activities for Air Transportation.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to determine whether the proposed single-source procurement should instead be conducted on a competitive basis by soliciting capabilities statements from interested organizations. Contractors must submit written capabilities and qualifications by 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time on September 11, 2025, with oral communications explicitly prohibited. The government will evaluate these submissions solely to determine if full and open competition is warranted, though the final decision to maintain single-source procurement remains at the government's discretion. The procurement will utilize commercial item acquisition procedures under FAR Parts 12 and 13, and the continued subscription service is essential for JPATS to accurately track and forecast maintenance requirements for its Boeing 737 fleet.
