About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is seeking a small business contractor to perform comprehensive demolition services at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The project involves the complete demolition of 114 base housing structures, including buildings, utilities, sidewalks, driveways, detached garages, and associated equipment. Contractors will be required to remove all utility lines to the nearest main junction, backfill and compress disturbed ground, and replace asphalt areas with gravel. The procurement will utilize FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding methodology, with NAICS Code 238910 and an annual size standard of $19,000,000. Offerors must submit a bid bond equal to 20% of their proposal amount, and solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, will be available for electronic download on or after 21 March 2025 through sam.gov.

The contract is exclusively set aside for small businesses under the 8(a) program and is subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-2. No incumbent or current contractor information is provided, indicating this is a new procurement without a preceding contract. The project scope suggests a significant infrastructure redevelopment effort, with the total demolition work encompassing multiple structures and associated site preparation activities. While a specific award value is not explicitly stated, the NAICS size standard of $19,000,000 provides a potential scale reference for the project's financial magnitude. The solicitation signals a structured approach to base housing redevelopment, with precise requirements for site clearance, utility removal, and ground restoration that will demand specialized demolition expertise.
