About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force Base is conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide Hardness Maintenance/Hardness Surveillance (HM/HS) testing services for the B-2 aircraft during Program Depot Maintenance. The contractor will be responsible for all test preparation, execution, and operational maintenance tasks, except for any government-furnished property and services. Interested parties must demonstrate their relevant capabilities and experience by submitting documentation by October 24, 2024. The government is seeking both large and small businesses, including joint ventures and teaming arrangements.
The market research is being conducted through a pre-solicitation notice, and the final solicitation details, including any small business set-asides, have not yet been determined. The contract will likely require the contractor to provide technical engineering support, test planning, system operation, equipment preparation, and 24/7 operational support during the test period. While the exact award value is not specified, the estimated workload includes details on the contractor support required for each HM/HS test, with a total not to exceed $3,500 for miscellaneous materials and supplies.
