About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice seeks proposals for the Automated Test System Sustainment Initiative II (ATSSI II) contract to provide sustainment services for automated test systems used by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center. Services will include test program development, hardware manufacturing, automated test equipment sustainment and maintenance, engineering support, and program management. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical approach, past performance, and price factors, with technical being most important. Draft solicitation documents are being released through June 2020, with proposals due July 1, 2020.
There is no set-aside designation. The NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code is D302. The incumbent contractor is expected to compete based on experience providing similar sustainment services. The contract is an IDIQ vehicle with a base period of April 2021 through April 2026 worth an estimated $200 million to $1 billion annually, and includes four one-year option periods extending orders through April 2030. Task orders will range from $200,000 to $20 million.

DESCRIPTION: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIEB intends to issue a RFP for the acquisition of Automated Test System Sustainment Initiative II (ATSSI II) services under solicitation FA8201-20-R-0009. The anticipated period of performance will be 7 years with the potential for 9 years. The ATSSI II contract is required for the continued development and sustainment of a Depot Technology infrastructure supportive of OO-ALC mission to perform critical test functions important to the ongoing operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness of multiple Air Force weapon systems/subsystems.
