The key requirements include a VRS scanner that can scan at 45 frames per second with Angstrom resolution, as well as related VRS gas and ambient chambers, probes, and a VRS1250 sample stage. The upgrade must be delivered within 30 days of contract award, include a minimum 12-month warranty, and provide half-day training. Payment will be made in full upon completion and acceptance of all deliverables.
Paragraph 2:
This opportunity is not set aside for any specific business size or socioeconomic status. The government is seeking to identify qualified businesses, especially small businesses, interested in and capable of providing the required AFM upgrade components. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Responses to the Sources Sought Notice are due by 12:00 P.M. EST on Monday, July 22, 2024.
