About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential suppliers for an AT Coach simulator system for the 334th Training Squadron at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. The procurement involves acquiring eight Windows-based ATCoachGE training system licenses along with comprehensive hardware including nine workstations, multiple monitors, keyboards, headsets, and associated equipment for Air Traffic Control radar simulator training. The system must provide specific technical capabilities including radar air traffic control training, simulated radio voice capabilities, Windows OS compatibility, and the ability to operate without internet or WiFi connectivity. Additionally, the contractor must provide shipping, configuration, installation, troubleshooting services, one week of in-person training for four staff members, and up to 40 hours of virtual services. Interested parties must submit responses by 11:00 AM CDT on July 17, 2025, via email to specified Air Force contacts, including company details, CAGE codes, and written confirmation of compliance with all Statement of Work requirements.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting participation to qualifying small business entities. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 334111 for Electronic Computer Manufacturing and PSC code 7E21 for IT and Telecom Mobile Device Products. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, and no specific budget ranges or award values are disclosed as this is solely a market research effort. The scope includes delivering nine complete workstations as part of the eight-license training system package, with the contractor responsible for all installation and configuration activities. The government emphasizes this is not a solicitation but rather market research to determine potential sources, with no guarantee that a formal solicitation will be issued in the future.
