About this opportunity
The United States Space Force Space Command seeks installation of an AMAG Symmetry System or functionally equivalent Intrusion Detection System in Building 2025 at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, with quotes due September 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM Mountain Time. This is a 100% small business set-aside; Amendment 2 and 3 posted September 9, 2026, extended the quote deadline and posted RFI answers.
Place of performance is Colorado Springs, Colorado. The procurement covers four contract line items: IDS materials and installation for Room 160 (CLINs 0001–0002) and Room 163 (CLINs 0003–0004), each with quantity one. Work must comply with Intelligence Community Directive 705, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volume 3, UL 2050, NFPA codes, and Peterson SFB Facility Installation Standards. Room 160 requires a UL 2050–compliant system integrated with the existing Access Control System to support classified information storage; Room 163 requires upgrading and installing a monitoring system for conversion to a Closed Area/Integrated Commercial Area; Room 120 requires network switch and alarm panel installation. All alarm conditions must report 24/7 to the 21st Security Forces Squadron via fully supervised and encrypted communication. Work hours are restricted to 0730–1600 Monday through Friday.
Award will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order with completion within 250 calendar days after receipt of award. NAICS code 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), size standard $25 million. Evaluation is price-based initially; the lowest-priced quote is then assessed on an acceptable/unacceptable technical basis. Technical requirements include Trade Agreement Act certification for all CLINs, one-year standard warranty confirmation, and for brand-name-or-equal products, separate specification sheets proving cross-brand compatibility and full system operability. Quotes limited to five pages maximum, submitted in two parts: priced quote and technical documentation. Questions were due September 9 at 12:00 PM MT. All vendors must register in SAM.gov; quote validity firm for 60 calendar days. Government will not provide contract financing.
