About this opportunity

This Special Notice is an amendment to a solicitation by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Middle East for design and construction services for the Aquora National Training & Operational Center in Lebanon. The notice revises specifications, drawings, the proposal schedule and cost breakdown, scope of work, volume references, the site visit date, and extends the proposal due date to August 21, 2021.

The objective of the Special Notice is to provide additional details and revisions to the solicitation for a design-bid-build contract to survey the site, develop an adapted design, and construct a concrete maintenance pad and associated site work at the Aquora National Training & Operational Center in Lebanon. The notice extends the deadline for contractor questions to August 13, 2021 and changes the tentative site visit date to July 30, 2021. Eligible contractors must demonstrate the ability to obtain necessary approvals and permits from the Lebanese Armed Forces to access the site and complete the work. The opportunity provides contractors the ability to bid on optional items including construction of a concrete masonry unit demonstration building and aggregate surfacing of access roads to support training operations for Lebanese and coalition forces.
