About this opportunity
Summary of Key Details:
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) is conducting market research to procure a Stationary Ambulance Simulator to train medical students in the Aerospace Medical Service Apprentice (AMSA) course. The simulator must fit below a 9ft ceiling, accommodate a STRYKER ambulance cot, and include features such as internal cameras, two-way audio, monitors/screens, lights, simulated oxygen outlets, and medical equipment. The Government is seeking responses from interested and capable entities by August 13, 2024, but this is not a formal solicitation and does not obligate the Government to make an award.
There is no set-aside designation for this procurement. The Government has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. While the Government has not specified an award value or budget range, the simulator is intended to support the AMSA course which trains approximately 1,500 medics annually at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. The delivery and installation of the simulator are required within 8 weeks of contract award.
