The contract requires furniture delivery, assembly, installation, electrical connections, testing, and cleanup services, with all furniture needing to be assembled prior to delivery and meeting specific salient characteristics outlined in the solicitation documents. Offerors must submit two quotes - one with full pricing for evaluation and another with redacted prices for technical review, and must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for August 28, 2025. The solicitation is due September 5, 2025, with quotes required to remain valid for at least 90 calendar days.

This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 337127 (Institutional Furniture Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees. The furniture will be delivered and installed at the AISO Library located at 543 Lawton Road, Building 617, Presidio of Monterey, California 93944. The period of performance spans from September 29, 2025, to April 28, 2026, with contractors required to begin performance 270 days after award. This modernization effort aims to replace furniture that has remained unchanged since 2005, creating improved collaborative spaces and study environments for students across both floors of the library facility.

Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) requires library-specific furniture to make the vision we have been working on for the past five years into reality. We hope to add the following items: 64 total tables; including round, occasional, standing, computer, flip-top, square, charging station tables that allow both standing and sitting, and a new circulation desk. 49 lounge chairs including arm and armless chairs and comfortable round chairs. 44 task chairs, which will be use at the computer tables. 36 stacking chairs, which will be used in the 3 study rooms and conference room. 48 end panels that will be used at the ends of each bookshelf for our collection. 4 media stations that will allow teachers to utilize the space for classes, or other faculty that want to hold breakout sessions for seminars. 8 room dividers that can be used throughout the library to create more of a quiet space when media stations are being used and for other areas if more privacy is needed or it is too loud. 40 diner style booths with tables for one and two people. 58 wood chairs with cushion on the back and seat and covered with vinyl for durability. This also includes 18 bar stool height wood chairs.
