About this opportunity

The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) through the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Eustis is seeking comprehensive library furniture to modernize their Aiso Library in Monterey, California. The procurement encompasses a complete furniture solution including 64 tables of various configurations (round, occasional, standing, computer, flip-top, square, and charging station tables), 49 lounge chairs, 44 task chairs, 36 stacking chairs, 48 bookshelf end panels, 4 media stations, 8 room dividers, 40 diner-style booths, and 58 wood chairs including bar stool height options. This modernization effort aims to transform the library space, which has not been updated since 2005, into a more comfortable and versatile learning environment for students from multiple military branches. The furniture specifications emphasize maple and blue color schemes with specific design requirements for metal bases, upholstery fabrics, and power/media module configurations. The solicitation number is W91QF4-25-Q-0029 with a due date of August 8, 2025, requiring delivery and installation to be completed on the same day at the DLIFLC facility.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is currently in pre-solicitation status under NAICS code 337127 for Institutional Furniture Manufacturing. The total project value is documented at $1,917,688.21 with a GSA discount of $980,128.51, resulting in a net contract price of $937,559.70. Additional costs include delivery at $49,560 and installation services at $65,100, bringing the comprehensive project total to over $1 million. The scope involves furnishing the entire Aiso Library located at 543 Lawton Road, Building 617, with delivery and installation required to be coordinated and completed simultaneously. The procurement timeline indicates an accelerated schedule with only an 11-day window from the July 28, 2025 posting date to the August 8, 2025 due date, suggesting this is a time-sensitive modernization initiative for the military language training facility.
