About this opportunity

The Air Force Research Laboratory is seeking proposals to conduct research across five technical areas in support of the Airman Decision Making and Interface Research Program: battlespace acoustics, supervisory control and cognition, aerospace physiology, battlespace visualization, and applied neuroscience. Proposals are due February 19, 2019 and will be evaluated based on the offeror's technical and management approach, past performance, and price to provide basic, applied and advanced research. Awards will be made as indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts with a collective ceiling value of $135 million to be shared across multiple contracts.

There is no set-aside designation. Research will be conducted under NAICS code 541715 and PSC codes R425 and R408. Awards will have a one-year base period and four one-year options, with an estimated $40.27 million awarded for the initial one-year base period. Task orders will have periods of performance ranging from 36-60 months and total values between $5-13.3 million to support laboratory and operational studies, data collection and analysis, modeling, and development of prototypes.
