About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research for an Airfield Data Management Server Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to support their Remote Maintenance and Monitoring (RMM) system. The procurement encompasses both hardware items and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software licenses, with 17 specific technology components from manufacturers including Dell, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, APC, Perle Systems, Comnet, MuLogic, and Phoenix Contact. The RMM system will create a connected network of data processing and storage sites across multiple locations, with the specified items being non-substitutable as they have been tested and verified for proper functionality. Vendors must comply with DAFMAN 17-1203 purchasing requirements and provide proof of authorization from Original Equipment Manufacturers for any third-party software licensing. The Sources Sought Synopsis responses are due by close of business on October 23, 2025, and must be submitted via email to the designated contracting personnel at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

This opportunity operates under NAICS code 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) with a $34 million size standard and does not utilize any set-aside designations. The procurement will establish a multi-award BPA with a five-year period of performance, and the RMM system is planned for installation at over 100 locations. Strict security requirements mandate that contractor personnel must be US citizens with no foreign participation permitted in the contract performance. The market research requires completion of a Contractor Capability Survey that assesses business classifications, facility capabilities, quality assurance processes, and project management capabilities. The government has explicitly stated that participation in this market research does not guarantee future solicitation opportunities or contract awards, and participants will not be reimbursed for survey completion expenses.
