About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking to procure up to 550 tons of airfield-specific asphalt mix for Minot AFB in North Dakota. The 5th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) will be responsible for transporting the asphalt from the batch plant to the airfield. The batch plant must be located within approximately 20 miles of Minot AFB and be capable of providing a continuous supply of 275 tons of asphalt per day to support the Government's transportation needs. The asphalt must be batched and available for pickup by the 5 CES on July 23 and July 25, 2024, with potential date changes due to weather delays at no cost to the Government. Quotations will be evaluated based on the most advantageous offer to the Government, considering both price and other factors. Quotations are due by June 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM CT and must be valid through July 20, 2024.
This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 324121 and a size standard of 500 employees. The Place of Performance is Minot, ND, USA. No incumbents or current contractors are named in the solicitation.

Minot AFB, ND has a requirement for airfield specific mix for up to 550 tons of asphalt. The 5th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) intends to operate the equipment to haul and transport the asphalt to and from the plant to Minot AFB.
The asphalt batch plant location must be within approximately 20 miles of the Minot AFB due to the Government transporting the asphalt. The plant must be able to support 275 ton of asphalt per day.
The asphalt would need to be batched and available for pick up by 5 CES on July 23 and July 25, 2024. Dates may need to shift if weather delays occur at no cost to the Government.
Batch Plant must be capable of providing a continuous supply of asphalt to support up to six 15-Ton dump trucks staggered 30 minutes apart.
