About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is conducting a Propulsion Industry Day on the F100 and F110 fighter engine re-competition on November 9, 2026, with registrations due November 2, 2026, at 1600 EST to Ms. Laura Burnette (laura.burnette@us.af.mil). No set-aside is used, but attendance is restricted to verified U.S. Persons from authorized Department of Defense contractors holding a valid DD Form 2345 for each specific CAGE code and physical location; a Facility Clearance Letter cannot substitute.
The event is market research seeking industry feedback on propulsion modernization priorities, including manufacturing and supply chain resilience, engine durability and fleet supportability ("Time on Wing"), digital engineering, and lifecycle affordability with performance-based contracting incentives. The notice states it is not an RFP and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
The morning features a general government briefing, and the afternoon offers one-on-one technical breakouts of up to 30 minutes with Government Integrated Product Teams. Each company may send up to five representatives per CAGE code. Breakout requests require a one-page capability statement. Attendees must hold an active SAM.gov registration with CAGE code and UEI, a DLA Joint Certification Program DD Form 2345, a U.S. Person certification, and an executed CUI Non-Disclosure Agreement. Briefings are CUI-level and cover ITAR- and EAR-controlled data, and personal electronic devices and recording are prohibited. Vetted small businesses unable to attend may request CUI briefing output after the event through an authorized Data Custodian. Approved attendees receive confirmations by November 5, 2026.

1) Air Force Propulsion Industry Day Announcement_V2
2) Industry_Day_Registration_Form_V2
Changes made to the documents include corrections to the title to specify that this Industry Day announcement is for the F100 & F110 Fighter Engine Re-competition, to remove references to advanced propulsion, and to correct an error in the instructions which specified "up to two (2) designated attendees", which was in conflict with the attendance limitation of five (5).
In addition, a blank template is being added to the attachments for the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Non-Disclosure Agreement for this Industry Day Fighter Engine Re-competition Event.
Lastly, please note a valid, approved DD Form 2345 must be provided for each specific CAGE Code and physical location to which your attending personnel are assigned. Also, a Facility Clearance Letter (FCL) cannot substitute for an active DD Form 2345.
