About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) under the title "AFTAC BAA 2023" which seeks research and development proposals across eight technology topic areas. The BAA is focused on advancing capabilities for nuclear treaty monitoring, detection of weapons of mass destruction, and other applied technologies relevant to the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC).
The purpose of this BAA is to identify the best research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) approaches to meet AFTAC's technology objectives. The BAA is open to a wide range of technical and business solutions, with proposals accepted through July 27, 2024. Potential contract awards will be between $150,000 to $5,000,000 in funding over 1 to 5 year periods of performance. Proposals will be evaluated in two phases, initially requiring a one-page quad chart and two-page white paper, followed by a full technical and cost proposal for select offerors. There are no set-asides, and the government reserves the right to fund any combination of proposals that offer the best overall value.
