About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking proposals for a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to remove, transport, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes from U.S. Department of Defense installations in Africa. The 30-month base contract with a 30-month option period requires the contractor to use DLA-qualified facilities and transporters and meet strict performance standards. Proposals will be evaluated on the technical approach to disposal and transportation, the management plan, past performance, and price, with the technical factors being significantly more important than price.
This is a full and open competition under NAICS code 562211 with no set-asides. The primary pick-up locations are in Djibouti, Kenya, and Cameroon, with potential additional countries. Proposals are due by June 28, 2024, and offerors must register in the Joint Contingency Contracting System for installation access. The contracting office anticipates multiple awards but has not provided estimated contract values.
