Currently, AETC operates under five standalone contracts including four BOS requirements and one Base Maintenance Contract, all awarded by the 338th ESS and administered at their respective base contracting offices. The consolidation of these five existing "C" type contracts aims to streamline policies and procedures at the task order level using FAR 16.505 ordering procedures to reduce award timelines and lower administrative costs for both contractors and the government. The period of performance will consist of one five-year basic ordering period plus one five-year option period, totaling a potential ten-year contract duration. No specific contract values or budget ranges were disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The government emphasized that this notice does not commit them to award a contract and provided four points of contact including contracting officers and contract specialists for inquiries.
