About this opportunity
Naval Air Systems Command awarded three bilateral firm-fixed-price modifications under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001921G0008 to Textron Systems Corporation for Aerosonde UAS operational support, transition, and sensor integration services, with award made on September 30, 2026.
The modifications comprise Task Orders N0001924F5000, N0001924F0023, and N0001924F5002, with a combined estimated value of $3 million for Fiscal Year 2026. The award was made on a sole-source basis under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.103-1. TSC holds exclusive proprietary control over Aerosonde UAS technical data packages, shipboard integration designs, avionics configurations, and flight control software; alternative sources would require approximately 270 days of recertification, creating unacceptable operational delays.
Task Order N0001924F5000 addresses transitioning shipboard Aerosonde UAS support in response to an urgent AFRICOM requirement, including pre-deployment and post-deployment support and B-kit installation. Task Order N0001924F0023 reinstates fully terminated operational CLINs following a CENTCOM-directed relocation of land-based operations due to deteriorating security conditions on July 24, 2026. Task Order N0001924F5002 establishes a directed change order for non-recurring engineering and fielding of the Aerosonde Mine Countermeasures Sensor. Authority to act expires September 30, 2027.
