About this opportunity

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award sole-source modifications to existing task orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001921G0008 to Textron Systems Corporation for Aerosonde UAS operational support and mine countermeasures sensor integration, with a response period closing September 30, 2026. Performance period extends up to twelve months from modification award. NAVAIR justifies sole-source award under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.103-1 on the basis that Textron Systems Corporation is the sole OEM, designer, and developer of the Aerosonde UAS, maintaining exclusive proprietary control over technical data packages, integration drawings, and flight control software. No other source possesses the specialized technical data or capability to perform these services without causing unacceptable delays in fleet operational readiness and voiding critical airworthiness certifications.
