About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Nuclear Weapons Center is seeking a Hirsch authorized vendor to provide maintenance and support services for three access control systems located in building 942 at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. The procurement involves maintaining software and hardware for Hirsch Velocity systems, MX8 door controllers, HID PIV CAC readers, electronic locks, a VALCOM Public Address System, and a Digital Watchdog CCTV system. Potential contractors must submit a 5-page Statement of Capabilities (SOCs) electronically, demonstrating their ability to meet the draft Performance Work Statement requirements. The Air Force will evaluate responses to determine potential small business set-aside eligibility, with respondents required to indicate their business size and type. All submissions must be received by May 14, 2025, at 5:00 pm MDT, addressed to Contract Specialist Claudia Perry and Contracting Officer Andrew Pascoe.

The opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 561621 with a $25.0M size standard, targeting security systems services. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price procurement requiring semi-annual preventative maintenance visits in April/May and November/December. Technical support expectations include 4-hour emergency repair response during business hours and 24-hour support for after-hours issues. While the contract covers labor for maintenance and repairs, replacement parts and equipment will be procured separately by the government, potentially using a Government Purchase Card. The maintenance services will focus on the 705 Combat Training Squadron's access control systems, with the contractor responsible for software and hardware updates, troubleshooting, and comprehensive system maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
