About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 10 seeks removal and replacement of three marquee signs at the Dayton VA Medical Center, with proposals due July 3, 2026. The procurement is set aside for total small business.
Place of performance is 4100 West 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428. The work involves replacement of two existing LED marquee signs and conversion of a third static sign facing State Route 35 to an LED marquee sign, all with 6mm pixel pitch displays (6.67mm acceptable for the SR 35 sign only). All three signs will be single-sided displays. The contractor is responsible for supplying any power requirements beyond the existing 120V, 20-amp circuits at each location. Both hardwired and wireless programming capabilities are required, with wireless as the minimum acceptable option. Two government-furnished laptops will require contractor-provided control software installation. The original sign dimensions of 45 inches high by 120 inches long refer to the display screen area only, not including frame borders. The procurement is subject to the Buy American clause for supplies and does not require permits. The signs operate as standalone systems not connected to the VA network.
Amendment 0001, effective June 16, clarified that marquee signs are to be single-sided rather than double-sided, with EMC pixel pitch of P6. Amendment 0002, issued June 24, answered additional RFIs. The NAICS code is 339950, Sign Manufacturing. The PSC code is 9905, Signs, Advertising Displays, and Identification Plates. The contracting office is VA Network Contracting Office 10 at Battle Creek VA Medical Center, Michigan; Jeffrey Rozema is the Contracting Officer (jeffrey.rozema@va.gov, 269-966-5600).
