About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command seeks to manufacture and install two patches for the 80th Flying Training Wing at Sheppard AFB, Texas, with proposals due August 4 and questions due July 27. This is a 100% small business set-aside with a 500-employee size standard under NAICS 339950, Sign Manufacturing.
Place of performance is Sheppard AFB, Texas. The first patch is a 67-inch-tall no-color aluminum ENJJPT emblem to be installed on the exterior east-facing wall of Building 2320. The second is a 36-inch-tall by 45-inch-wide color patch featuring the ENJJPT and 80th Flying Training Wing combined emblem, to be installed on the interior entry hallway of Building 2322. The contractor must fabricate, finish, and professionally install both patches using mounting hardware and methods appropriate to each environment—the exterior installation must withstand North Texas weather and tornado-force winds with secure alignment; the interior installation requires level, secure mounting on interior walls. Delivery and installation are limited to normal business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays) and require advance notice to the government point of contact.
The solicitation is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The contractor must obtain base identification for all personnel and subcontractors, comply with all base security and safety regulations, ensure all employees have proper work authorization, document pre-existing damage, protect surrounding surfaces, and repair any installation-caused damage. The Air Force reserves the right to cancel this solicitation before or after the closing date with no obligation to reimburse offerors for costs. Offers must be submitted via email. The PSC code is 9905, Signs, Advertising Displays, and Identification Plates.
