About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center intends to solicit an enterprise radiotherapy quality assurance SaaS system and repository with responses to a Request for Information due June 10, 2026. The solution must be FedRAMP-authorized and VA-authorized, vendor-agnostic, and capable of aggregating QA data from diverse radiotherapy treatment devices, imaging systems, and brachytherapy equipment across approximately 41 VA Radiation Oncology Centers while maintaining compliance with American Association of Physicists in Medicine Task Group standards (TG-142, TG-51, TG-198) and Medical Physics Practice Guidelines.
Place of performance covers all VA Radiation Oncology centers nationwide. The contractor must deliver a cloud-based SaaS platform with system setup and FedRAMP/ATO approvals, device integration, centralized monitoring and reporting with API access, automated QA image analysis, customizable QA templates, final system validation, user training across physics and QA staff, and continuous monthly monitoring. The base performance period is 12 months from award with four optional 12-month periods and one optional task covering a minimum of 100 users. The contractor is responsible for all software licenses and must comply with Zero Trust security controls, FICAM authentication standards, IPv6 support, Section 508 accessibility standards, and AI governance requirements where generative AI is used. Personnel must undergo background investigations at appropriate sensitivity levels.
The RFI is for acquisition-strategy planning only; no funds have been authorized. Responses are limited to 10 pages and must include company information, CAGE/DUNS/UEI number, NAICS code 541519, technical capability summaries addressing architecture, supported equipment integrations, analytical reporting, and FedRAMP status. SDVOSB and VOSB vendors must address VAAR 852.219-73 compliance and the 50-percent subcontractor limitation.
