About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is conducting market research into enterprise-level product alternatives to its current Microsoft Enterprise Agreement products, with responses due October 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.

This is a Request for Information only and does not constitute a commitment to contract, obligate the government, or guarantee reimbursement for submission costs. All submitted information becomes government property. The VA serves over 540,000 users and seeks vendor information across 15 capability areas: productivity and collaboration, identity and access management, unified endpoint management, endpoint operating system licensing, endpoint detection and response, identity threat protection, email and collaboration threat protection, cloud access security broker, extended detection and response, data governance and compliance, customer/case management, enterprise resource planning and supply chain management, low-code application development and business intelligence, source code management and DevOps, project and portfolio management, and diagramming and visualization tools, plus enterprise technical support and professional implementation services and cloud infrastructure services.

Responses are limited to 10 pages per capability area and must include detailed bills of materials with part numbers and pricing, Section 508 compliance details, vendor credibility and customer references, tiered pricing and licensing models, lifecycle costs including onboarding and offboarding, service level agreements and actual uptime performance, AI capabilities and pricing, integration costs, and cost management tools. Solutions must comply with NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5 and VA Directive 6500, and support the VA Authorization to Operate process with a target ATO decision timeline of 60 calendar days. FedRAMP certification is not required. Submit responses to kalil.oneal@va.gov and matthew.newell@va.gov. The VA may issue a follow-on RFP/RFQ on SAM.gov; interested parties are responsible for monitoring.
