About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 issued a sole source justification notice on March 17, 2026, for an annual licensing agreement for the Brillians Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) software. The software will provide automated rule-based analysis and problem-centric reports at point of care across all VA Medical Centers, outpatient clinics, and community-based outpatient clinics under VA Northern California Health Care System jurisdiction. SupraVista Medical DSS, LLC, a small business based in Farnham, Virginia, was determined to be the only responsible source capable of providing this stand-alone clinical cognitive support system compatible with the VHA's existing electronic health record system (CPRS), justifying the sole source award under 41 USC 3304(a)(1). The contract was awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis with a base year value of $85,000.00 running from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2031, followed by four optional one-year periods valued at $88,825.00, $92,822.12, $96,999.12, and $101,364.08 respectively, for an estimated total contract value of $465,010.32 over five years. A Notice of Intent to Sole Source was posted on February 10, 2026, and closed on February 18, 2026, with no competing vendor responses received.
Notice text
For purposes of award of this Contract, the Government intends to evaluate the option to extend services under FAR 52.217-8 as follows: The evaluation will consider the possibility that the option can be exercised at any time and can be exercised in increments of one to six months, but not for more than a total of six months during the life of the contract. The evaluation will assume that the prices for any option exercised under FAR 52.217-8 will be those rates in effect under the contract each time an option is exercised under this clause. The evaluation will therefore assume that the addition of the price or prices of any possible extension or extensions under FAR 52.217-8 to the total price for the basic requirement and the total price for the priced options has the same effect on the total price of all proposals relative to each other, and will not affect the ranking of proposals based on price, unless, after reviewing the proposals, the Government determines that there is a basis for finding otherwise. This evaluation will not obligate the Government to exercise any option under FAR 52.217-8. Awarded contract 36C26126P0530 to SUPRAVISTA MEDICAL DSS, LLC for 91000.00000000 on 2026-03-17.
