The purpose of this amendment is to add the questions/answers below, that were received in response to the solicitation.
Question:
We just wanted to confirm that the Central Iowa, Des Moines location needed 2 analyzers and that the test volume for them was as follows:
1340 Â Tests per year per analyzer (total of 2680 tests for the two analyzers per year)
Answer:
Central Iowa, Des Moines location would need 2 analyzers and they average about 1340 per year (not per analyzer).

Blood Gas Analyzer Service for VA VISN Health Care System(multi sites).
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This is a solicitation conducted using FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures).
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested.
Solicitation number 36C26324Q0284 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-01.
This procurement is a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at time of offer to the Government (https://www.sam.gov).
Quotes will only be accepted from responsible contractors. The NAICS code for the solicitation is 334516 with a size standard of 1000 Employees.
A list of the contract line items, quantities, and units of measure are listed within the attached solicitation documentation.
The VA anticipates one firm fixed price contract award to provide services to Multiple sites under the VISN 23 Healthcare System.
The period of performance is 05-10-2024 to 05-09-2025 for the base year period of performance.
This IDIQ is anticipated to have 5 ordering periods through the life of the contract.
FAR provisions 52.212-1, 52.212-2, and 52.212-3 apply to this procurement and are detailed within the attached solicitation document.
