About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is conducting market research to identify potential suppliers of Polymedco home FIT test kits for multiple VA healthcare facilities across Montana, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Utah. The procurement seeks a contractor to provide boxes containing 20 tests per box (OCPUIO VA1-220260 OC-Auto SENSOR Personal Use Kit) that will be shipped directly to the Government Printing Office. Interested vendors must submit a detailed capability statement addressing their organizational capacity, including company contact information, business size status, and SAM Unique ID by April 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM mountain time. The market research will help determine the procurement method, which may be either set aside for small businesses or conducted through full and open competition. Vendors must provide comprehensive information about their ability to meet the requirements, including details about domestic versus foreign product composition and potential subcontracting arrangements.
The procurement is classified under NAICS code 325413 for In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing, and only one contract will be awarded upon completion of the market research. The solicitation does not currently have a specific set-aside designation, though small businesses may be given preference depending on market research responses. No specific award value or budget range is currently disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. The requirement spans multiple VA healthcare system locations, including facilities in Montana, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Utah, suggesting a potentially significant volume of test kits will be needed. Vendors are encouraged to provide detailed information about their manufacturing capabilities, employee count, and ability to supply the specified test kits, with the understanding that this is a voluntary information-gathering process that may or may not result in a future solicitation.
