About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center, Commodities Acquisition and Services Acquisition is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties interested in and capable of supporting the requirement for Customized (Prescription) Hearing Aid Devices and Repair Services. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing.
The purpose of this RFI is to determine the method of procurement and identify commercial practices regarding the draft Performance Work Statement. Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements, comments, and questions on the draft Performance Work Statement and attachments by January 15, 2024. Based on the responses received, the VA will evaluate the potential market capacity to provide supplies consistent in scope and scale, secure the necessary resources, implement a successful project management plan, and deliver services under a performance-based contract. The VA may then procure this requirement through full and open competition, with the potential for multiple awards.
