About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 has published a Special Notice to inform interested parties of its intent to award a sole source contract to Omnicell, Inc. for Omnicell IVX Workflow and associated software. The Omnicell IVX Workflow is currently utilized by the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center's Pharmacy Service and is the only product compatible with the existing Automated Dispensing Cabinets in use.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide vendors with an opportunity to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Interested parties have until 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on April 2, 2024 to demonstrate their ability to meet the government's need. Responses should include relevant information such as specifications, capability statements, etc. The associated NAICS code is 339113 with an 800 employee size standard. The government will make a determination on whether to compete this requirement based on the responses received, at its sole discretion. No competitive quotes are being requested at this time.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the Large Business, Omnicell, Inc., located at 500 Cranberry Woods Dr, Cranberry Township, PA 16066:

The IVX Workflow is currently utilized by the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center s Pharmacy Service. The current system is the only product available is compatible and able to communicate with the current Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADC) that are in use at RMR.
The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339113 and the Business Size Standard is 800 employees.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to Jeremy.ferrer@va.gov.
A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
