Amendment 0001, effective August 6, extended the deadline from August 7.

Place of performance is Gainesville, Florida. The doors will be installed in patient ward corridors on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Bed Tower to improve physical security and controlled access. The solicitation is a brand name or equal procurement; the brand name reference is Record USA Model 4500 Single Bi-Fold Automatic Sliding Door System. Offerors proposing equal products must submit documentation demonstrating that their equipment meets all salient characteristics, including tempered glass panels of at least 0.25-inch thickness, built-in auto lock hardware, access-control compatibility, and obstacle detection safety features. Door assemblies must fit Government-prepared hallway openings of approximately 97 inches tall by 96 inches wide; the Government will not accept 4-panel bi-part fold doors or systems wider than 63 inches, and requires 2-panel bi-folding door configurations. All pricing must be all-inclusive, covering materials, frames, integrated locking hardware, transmitter buttons, receiver components, delivery, freight, labor, equipment, installation, adjustment, calibration, functional testing, warranty, overhead, and profit. The contract is anticipated firm-fixed-price. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 3 at 10:00 AM at the Bed Tower Entrance. Evaluation weighs technical compliance and delivery schedule realism more significantly than price. The NAICS code is 332321; PSC code is 5670.
