About this opportunity

This solicitation is for the expansion of the 316th Inspector General Office's existing Advanced Disaster Management System (ADMS), a virtual reality system used for emergency response training at Joint Base Andrews. The Department of the Air Force Headquarters District Washington is seeking proposals to add new training scenarios to the ADMS, including simulations for gate runner and high-risk traffic stops, active shooter and sniper response, drone operations, and a simulation of Building #1500. Proposals will be evaluated on price and technical acceptability, with the award made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the government. Proposals are due by September 11, 2024.

This is a small business sole source award to the incumbent contractor, Environmental Tectonics Corporation, with a total estimated cost of $1,011,434. The ADMS expansion must be compatible with the existing system and integrate with the current virtual reality platform. The contract will be a firm-fixed price award under simplified commercial item procedures. The place of performance is Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
