About this opportunity

The Bureau of Land Management's Wyoming Region is soliciting proposals to replace 22 existing picnic tables at recreation sites in the Rock Springs and Kemmerer Field Offices with new 8-foot galvanized-finish aluminum wheelchair-accessible picnic tables. The new tables must meet specific technical requirements including dimensions of 96" x 59", tabletop height of 30-31", welded steel pipe end frames, hot-dip galvanized components, and extruded 6063-T6 aluminum alloy planks with clear anodized finish. Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov, comply with Section 889 telecommunications restrictions, and submit detailed drawings and specifications for approval prior to shipping. The procurement will be evaluated using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method, considering price, technical capability, and past performance. Proposals are due June 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time, with the final question deadline set for June 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time, and delivery required by August 31, 2025.

This opportunity is designated as a 100% small business set-aside with a size standard of $19.5 million under NAICS code 712190. The contract requires delivery of exactly 22 wheelchair-accessible picnic tables to the BLM Rock Springs Field Office in Rock Springs, Wyoming, though the contractor will not be responsible for final delivery to individual recreation sites. Payment will be processed as a single lump sum after successful delivery and acceptance by the Contracting Officer's Representative. The place of performance is specified as North Rock Springs, Wyoming, and vendors must include their Unique Entity Identifier when submitting proposals via email to Contract Specialist Huong Le. Recent amendments have addressed vendor questions regarding color/finish requirements and assembly status of the tables, with the government indicating flexibility on these specifications to facilitate transportation and maintenance objectives.
