About this file

The document is an Amendment (AMD001) containing Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to Solicitation 140L6225Q0030 for picnic table procurement by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The Q&A addresses two specific vendor inquiries: (1) color/finish requirements for the 22 picnic tables, with the vendor proposing an uncoated metal finish for simplified maintenance, and (2) assembly status of the tables, with the vendor suggesting unassembled delivery to facilitate transportation.

The underlying federal contract opportunity involves replacing 22 existing picnic tables for BLM recreation sites in the Rock Springs and Kemmerer Field Offices in Wyoming. The specification calls for 8' galvanized-finish aluminum wheelchair-access picnic tables to be shipped to the BLM Rock Springs Field Office. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and shipping the tables, but not for final delivery to specific recreation sites. The tables are intended to reduce ongoing maintenance needs in these recreational areas.

Text version

AMD001 (Q&A) Answers are in RED Q1. Is there a specific color required for the 22 picnic tables?

We were planning on an uncoated metal finish to simplify maintenance and avoid painting. However, if other finishes are available, we would be interested in exploring those options Q2. Should the picnic tables be delivered fully assembled, or will they arrive unassembled?

Delivering the picnic tables unassembled would make it much easier for us to transport them to the field.
