About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking a Catholic Mass Music Director/Musician to provide musical leadership for the 1100 Sunday Service at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Langley AFB Chapel. The contractor will be responsible for playing the historic 1934 M.P. Moller pipe organ, leading congregational singing, directing choir activities, recruiting and managing volunteer musicians, and ensuring compliance with copyright regulations and sound system operations. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music, proficiency in organ and keyboard instruments, ability to sight-read and teach music, and familiarity with Catholic liturgical music guidelines. Contractor performance will be evaluated annually by the Catholic Priest and/or Liturgy Committee based on service quality and adherence to liturgical standards.
