About this opportunity

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office West (MRCO) is conducting a sources-sought notice to identify potential suppliers for one Magnetic Resonance (MR) Injection System for Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. The Department of the Army Medical Command is seeking a firm-fixed price contract with a base period and two potential option years for this medical equipment procurement. Interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide detailed information about their business size under NAICS code 334510, including company name, DUNS number, CAGE code, and contact information. Contractors must submit their responses via email to elizabeth.a.orloski.civ@health.mil by February 19, 2025, and demonstrate how their system meets the specific salient characteristics outlined in the attached document. The government will use this market research to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy, evaluating vendors' ability to meet technical specifications, delivery capabilities, and equipment compatibility.

The procurement does not currently have a specific small business set-aside, though the sources-sought notice indicates the government will assess potential small business participation. The estimated purchase is planned for March, April, or May of Fiscal Year 2025, with a one-time acquisition of a single MR Injection System. The system must be compatible with 1.5T and 3T magnetic fields, have dual syringe capabilities, meet NIST Risk Management Framework requirements, and fit specific physical dimensions (not exceeding 88" height, 50" width, 200 lbs). Delivery and installation are required Monday through Friday between 0800-1500 hours at Building 7500, Room 172, with the vendor responsible for removing existing legacy equipment. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the procurement will result in a single contract, with vendors required to confirm equipment availability and provide assurance of no projected backorders within the next 60 days.
