About this file

This is a Salient Characteristics document detailing requirements for one MR Injection System to be installed at Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH) at Fort Carson, CO, as part of a planned replacement due to end of life on December 31, 2025. The document specifies detailed clinical requirements including compatibility with 1.5T and 3T magnetic fields, floor pedestal mounting, dual syringe powerhead capabilities, programmable volume/flow rates, and various calculation features including eGFR and weight-based dosing.

The system must meet NIST Risk Management Framework requirements with current ATO, have specific physical dimensions (not exceeding 88" height, 50" width, 200 lbs), and operate on 100-240 VAC power. Installation requirements include delivery Monday-Friday 0800-1500 at Building 7500, room 172 (ECN: 024279), with vendor responsibility for removing existing equipment and providing Bill of Lading. The vendor must provide direct-to-site setup service, warranty coverage, and can ship either fully assembled or complete assembly on-site. The contractor's point of contact information will be provided upon award.
